News: Dallas Cowboys Prepare to Rebound vs. Carolina Panthers

IRVING, Texas - Before Sunday, you would've thought it wouldn't matter most Cowboys fans don't have NFL Network, because that Week 16 laugher in Carolina wouldn't be worth watching anyway. Right! Sunday's loss to the Eagles showed the Cowboys certainly aren't above losing a highly winnable game, and the Panthers can sneak up on a team they aren't supposed to beat, having downed the Seahawks, 13-10, at home on Sunday.

What's Up?

Saturday's 7:15 p.m. (CST) game in Charlotte, N.C., has suddenly been elevated to must-win status for the Cowboys (12-2), who still hold a head-to-head tiebreaker with the equally 12-2 Green Bay Packers in the race for home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs. The Panthers have had a rough go of it in 2007, starting three different quarterbacks since starter Jake Delhomme's season was cut short by an injury to his throwing elbow. Two of Carolina's relief pitchers should be familiar to Cowboys fans: Vinny Testaverde, who played all 16 games for Dallas in 2004, and Matt Moore, an undrafted rookie free agent who signed with the team out of Oregon State this year but was let go on the last wave of training camp cuts. The Cowboys were hoping to sign him to the practice squad, but Carolina grabbed him on waivers
