News: Patrick Crayton says Giants Talk too Much

IRVING, Tex. - Patrick Crayton has a theory as to why the Giants have talked so much trash about the Cowboys on and off the field this season.

And it's something the Giants aren't going to be happy to hear.

"It's funny that those guys talk, every time we get ready to play them," Crayton said before Cowboys practice at Valley Ranch on Thursday. "What I have learned is when players have to talk about another team like that, either they are scared or they are trying to talk themselves into believing they can do it. I think they are trying to talk themselves up into believing they can do it."

Crayton, the starting receiver opposite Terrell Owens, kept opening his mouth while insisting the Giants won't close theirs. In the process, Crayton ripped Brandon Jacobs for yapping too much. He also took a shot at cornerback Sam Madison while warning the Giants that the Cowboys are going to be much stiffer competition than what they faced last weekend in Tampa. . .
