News: Pacman Jones Trade Close to Completion for Cowboys

IRVING, Texas - After a significant lull in the action, and just a day after Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said there had been "no movement" in the trade talks for Pacman Jones, those negotiations evidently heated up on Wednesday.

And by Wednesday night, they were boiling, the Dallas Cowboys and the Tennessee Titans agreeing in principle on the much talked about Pacman Jones trade which might be completed by the end of the day Thursday but apparently now prior to the 2 p.m. (CDT) start to Saturday's NFL Draft.

After declining to confirm initial reports claiming a trade "in principle" had been completed late Wednesday afternoon, sources saying the trade was not done "yet," the Cowboys finally moved far enough along in the trade talks Wednesday night to at least say the move for the suspended cornerback was completed in "principle." . . .
